I don't doubt that if a person travels frequently this could possibly be a good deal. However, keep in mind that
1.) you pay for your points up front, then
2.) you keep paying a monthly maintenance fee, AND
3.) if you want to travel to Europe (or places where Wyndham is not) you have to exchange through RCI, so now you pay again.
There is no guarantee that the monthly maintenance fees won't rise.
Seems like you pay to just keep paying. Where does this actually save you money????
Current owners who don't use all their points or "weeks" rent them out through craigslist and the like. I think I'll rent from them and save the monthly fees.
The sales manager actually challenged us by saying we were either smart enough to see the value in this or we weren't. I guess I'm not very smart then. But I was smart enough not to give them $12K.
Two hours is required for presentation yet somehow we were there three hours.
The package offered to sit through their presentation does not cover your resort fees. It's not worth it. Period.
