Great food for the money. I had the fried chicken served over white rice and gumbo. It was quite tasty and for under $12 quite reasonable as well.
The outside looked very eclectic and the inside used bright colors and cool paintings.
There were two hiccups that prevented a five stars. Our server was very polite but felt like she was new. She didn't really explain the menu and she didn't check back with us often. The second reason was the price of the appetizer. I had the hush puppies. They charged $7 for four. Granted they were made from crab cakes but $7 for four small balls of fried hush puppies were a but too expensive.
