A great way to reminisce about a lifetime of music - We only had two hours to spend in the museum. We could have definitely spent more time. The top two floors were dedicated to an exhibit on Rolling Stone magazine that we didn't spend too much time in. The museum movie is a must see. One of the floors has a special Johnny Cash exhibit with his desk that I thought was a special treat. Seeing Ringo's drums was also pretty cool. I thought the balance of content per band was awkwardly imbalanced. Perhaps it's just musical tastes. I would have given more space to U2 for example who only had one small exhibition window. In any case, the museum doesn't flow very well. We had to do a lot of back tracking especially in the lower floors. We really enjoyed sharing the history with our 11 year old son, who didn't know or ever hear of half the bands on exhibit. We found metered parking down the street from the museum on a Saturday night.
