  • So it wasn't the large copper staple that showed up in a pakora that was the problem. It was the fact that the owner and waiter were confused about it and then revealed that the pakoras are provided by an external "supplier". (And yes they comped the entire meal, but in that "we are doing this out of obligation" way, not out of real concern.) So Amaya is not artisanal Indian food. It is industrial. I shall stick to Indian Rice Factory henceforth. Yay, I said "henceforth".
