Horrible customer service!!!
I made a reservation for a party of four on Valentine's days and at no given time was I notified that there was going bed a"set menu" for this night. Not even in the confirmation email that they sent to me, did it states this.
On the email that I received (and can make public is anyone is interested) there is a link to the menu and it shows you there "entire menu". Which would easily lead you to believe that they will have the whole menu available on this night, just like any other night. I get a call 3 hours before my reservation, asking if I am OK with a set menu at $65.00 a person? This of course is after I already made my reservations and had invited guest to the place.
Is this acceptable? No warning of only a set menu? Telling me on how I must spend my money? And not allowing me to order what I want?
This shows a lack of consideration for the gust and that they are willing to do what ever it takes to steal from their customers!
I spoke with the receptionist and she claimed that they just made the decision of a set menu and it was causing allot of confusion with the guest, so I asked to speak with Paul (the general manager) who took forever to get to the phone. I tell Paul that I had invited guest and did not know if they had any dietary restrictions and if the limited menu would suffice there needs. He tells me that they came to this decision some time ago. My girlfriend spoke Chris (a manager she respects) on Thursday and but even then, Chris did not mention that they would be limited to a set menu.
Now we have a company who cannot get their story straight. Does this sound like a "Great dinning" experience to you?
My advice to you is that you should be prepared to leave this place "unhappy"! The food may need good, but the people running this place do not care about the paitriants and are just out to take your money any way they can.
