  • Our chihuahua wasn't feeling well all day. We were going to take him to the vet the next day but he started crying in pain around midnight. We went to the Emergency Animal Clinic nervous and worried about the thought of losing Bigfoot. We were greeted by Diana who was really friendly at the front desk. Our technician, Summer, was really nice and made us feel at ease as she asked us questions about Bigfoot. She took Bigfoot in the back with her to examine him as we filled out paperwork. We met with Dr. Pollard afterwards. She told us that she didn't find anything wrong with him. She offered to give us an estimate of the cost different tests that he could take if we wanted to know what's wrong and take care of it right away. Summer came back with the estimate. She explained what each one was and answered all our questions. The estimate was $721.84. Based on the answers she gave us, we decided to start with the X-ray exam and then move on to other tests if they didn't find anything on the x-ray. Before we got started Summer made sure that we would be okay waiting up to 45 minutes for the results. Diana made sure that we waited in the waiting area since it was cooler there compared to the room we were in. She even offered us water and coffee. Dr. Pollard showed us the xray and thank God it was enough let us know what was causing Bigfoot's pain. She explained to us what we should do to make him feel better. They were suppose to take just an xray of his abdomen but offered to might as well xray his whole body since he is small. Because of these, they were able to examine other parts and find that the problem was with his back. Dr. Pollard took the time to make sure the what showed in the xray really was bothering Bigfoot. Instead of spending $721.84 in tests, we ended up just spending $314.72 because of how amazing, helpful, honest, and genuinely caring these people are.
