  • I was admitted here about 20 hours ago. I was transported here from Mountain View by ambulance because I needed an Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist. I waited 2 hours in the waiting area with the drug addicts, etc before I was even put into the medication room. This was because they forgot about me twice. I know this because they told me. Then I waited another 3 hours in the medication room for an actual room. The nurse team in the medication room was ok. Mainly only Elaine. She was amazing and went above and beyond. The nurse staff in my room last night was pretty good. The nurse and physician staff here this morning is terrible. Extremely neglectful. Apparently there were many call outs and they are understaffed, frustrated, and rushed. I know this because my nurse told me. I have been waiting for pain medication for at least 2 hours this morning. I was told I would get something for my extreme anxiety, extreme pain, and a nicotine patch at least 2 hours ago. I have received none of those. I am currently in extreme pain and discomfort. Would be better off at home. I was transferred here from the nice Mountain View hospital to see the ENT specialist. It's been 20 hours here and no appearance from the specialist. At this point I sincerely feel concerned for my health. The neglect this team has displayed is very scary. I have a condition that if it is not treated correctly will pass into my blood stream. I am literally scared for the decisions this neglectful, overworked, rushed team will make for my health at this point. It is Wednesday 10/11/17 at 12:07pm. Let this go on record now because I'm not sure how my health will result from this. That is a terribly scary feeling.
