  • OK, so I have read all the reviews. I spent a bunch of time on the plane checking out one review after another of people complaining about how the club is small and the staff is rude, etc, etc... I was there on a Thursday in January. Same week as the CES show in Las Vegas. it was pretty slow by Vegas standards and maybe that's the reason our experience was so different. I was worried about getting on the "guest list". I called the night before and left a message on machine that picked up that I was going to be in town and would love to get on the guest list, plus one if I could. When I hung up, I thought I would NEVER hear back from them, but the next day, I got a text from someone that gave me instructions on when to show up and what to do when I got there. It was really easy and we got right in. This guy was amazing! I won't name him by name because I'm not sure if he would want me to or not, but he was so incredibly helpful. He texted me to make sure I was in. He set it up so that I could go back to a lounge. He texted to make sure I was having a good time. I mean- this guys was GREAT! Every staff member and bouncer was super friendly and helpful and trying to make sure my wife and I had a great time. The reviews I read about these guys are weird when I think back, because I had such a different experience. There wasn't too many people there at first, so we went up to the bar to get some drinks. I was drinking wine and it was about $12 every time I got a glass of house Cabernet. Bar tenders were great. Eventually the place filled up and we moved out to the dance floor. The music was perfect (Which is totally a matter of taste). But it was hip hop, top 40, popular stuff from off the radio. Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Some Rap, some hip hop... a little Michael Jackson sprinkled in. There were all kinds of beautiful people in there- especially my wife :) She looked hot that night :) Anyway- we had a great time. The next day, I asked a bar tender in the bar right outside LAX why she thought LAX got such a bad rap from reviews and she said that it might have been reviews from before a recent remodel. Also, I suppose it probably has to do with the number of people there. Every place can be not fun if there are more people than the place can hold. So, I say- go check it out! It's fun!!
