| - Been coming here since I was a kid. I stopped coming for several years, but recently I decided to give it a go again and fell in love with the place all over again.
The food has ten times the flavor than the Filibertos across the street does. Don't even try to compare the two, Los Betos is twenty times better. Their food is much more authentic, so if you're looking for real Mexican flavors I recommend this place. I will say, don't expect high quality, best-Mexican-I've-ever-had food; its not gonna happen here. However, its fast, convenient, and the closest place where I can get GOOD burritos (I've had so many that have tasted like cardboard its ridiculous... Ahhem, Filibertos).
I recommend the "California" burrito, by far my favorite. Or the "pastor" burrito. Also, the carne asada is very good and if you want something cheap but filling they have 5 tacos for $5.95 I think and they're pretty good too. Also, if you want the carne asada fries but aren't sure if it'll be worth the $10, let me tell you it is, they're big, delicious, and smell divine.
The service is also the best. I love coming and talking to the people who work there, always friendly and know how to make you smile. Oh and if you ask for pickled jalapeƱos (in Spanish they're called jalapeƱos en vinagre) they will also provide them (free of charge).
It's a local business, so you can't feel bad for spending your money here.
Happy eating
