| - This is the 2nd EQ3 store that I've shopped in. Pretty nice, spacious, well-lit, well-kept.
Service is prompt, useful. And, bonus, toddler-friendly. We're trying to upgrade the look of our living space, and EQ3 has a line of pet-friendly materials - called "Urban" xx. Given that we have two furry animals at home, we needed and were willing to pay extra for proven and easy to care for quality.
Years ago, I bought a lounge "chaise" from their King st. To this day, the foam is still firm, not lumpy in the least, and still looks nice overall. It's been easy to spot clean. Our cat isn't interested in clawing at the fabric!
We sought the same fabric out, and have now ordered a matching sofa. SO looking forward to its arrival! We could have switched fabrics, to one that was more durable, but hey - if this other fabric has already lasted years, feels soft to the touch, and is one that we're pretty satisfied with, we weren't interested in trying anything that wasn't appealing.
The only downside, is the cost. Items at EQ3 are considerably more expensive than, say, Ikea or even department store prices. You're paying for a modern, classy style, however. And you're investing in a long term item, rather than a trendy cheapo item.
Depends on what your needs are.
I had approached Iliona (sp?) for help, since she was the one closest to me, and she ended up staying to help us one on one for the duration of our semi-long visit. She brought various swatches for us to consider, and made the visit more personable, enjoyable. There's another 2 women there, who stopped by to socialize with our toddler. Quite nice to have done that, on their part.
The furniture will be assembled in Canada. Not sure if everything is made locally.
We're looking forward to enjoying this new sofa, easily for the next decade plus!
