I went here with a couple of friends on a Friday night for a surprise birthday party last week. I'm not a huge bowler, but having enjoyed movies like "The Big Lebowski" I appreciated the atmosphere inside. The bowling alley has a retro look and feel to it, with some deep red carpet that soaked up much of the sound making it fairly easy to hear when talking to friends. I find it really annoying when I go to a bowling alley that I can't hear what the person next to me is saying! The retro look seemed to fit in well with its location in Lawrenceville.
For the party, the staff let us bring in some homemade desserts which was nice. The food and drinks were fairly on pair with a bowling alley, and the weekday specials to bowl were quite attractive. Unfortunately, I don't see myself going out of my way to come back here. If you are local then lucky you. My only complaint would be that I couldn't find a bowling ball that fit my fingers, or everything that did was way too heavy (I am getting old and weak so that could contribute to my lack of strength as well).
Overall a cool place and I wouldn't hesitate to come back here if I was in the area.
