Good Night! How I love Mitchell's.
I grew up in upstate New York in the middle of ice cream culture and this is the best ice cream without getting super high end. There are always interesting flavors, they are always incredible delicious and high quality.
I love their devotion to sourcing ingredients close to Cleveland.
Their vegan ice cream is better than any other vegan ice creams and most regular ice creams.
I don't like chocolate ice cream at all--except for Mitchell's. It's not overly sweet and extremely chocolatey.
I recommend any seasonal flavor, the Edmund Fitzgerald Porter, the Caramelized Chocolate ice cream, and the Peanut Butter Pretzel yogurt. But there isn't a lot that I don't recommend. Mitchells is just such a treasure. We always have a pint in the freezer and it is a place where we consistently bring friends when they visit. So, so sooo good.
The ingredients are fresh and real, no weird flavors. If you get coffee ice cream--it is made with quality coffee. If you get raspberry sorbet--it's made with actual raspberries. When I move away from Cleveland on day, Mitchell's is why I will come back to visit.
