This place and from what I've read thus far, the entire organization cares about nothing more than scamming the public they are supposed to serve.
Today I took my son to have x rays performed, which are covered by my insurance 100%. While there, I called my insurance company twice to confirm this fact. Three times I insisted my insurance be verified through my carrier. It's now apparent that the additional 30 minutes I waited for a response from whom ever the extremely rude individual at the front desk, was bs. She then proceeded to mumble that I had to pay $92, without once making eye contact. She must of known she was full of it.
With such practices, I don't understand how SimonMed hasn't been investigated and charged.
I will be reporting this to my insurance company as well as the doctors office and any other organization I can to make sure this doesn't happen to me or anyone else.
PS...they scammed my daughter about a year ago. I wished I'd known but trust, that will be made known to her insurance company as well.
Don't bother with an apology. Excuses mean nothing when it's obviously not a true concern. Fix the core problem so fake apologies are not necessary.
