  • This place has such great potential, but it just misses the mark. I had the smoked chicken wings, fries and a beer. My wife had the fish tacos. The wings are really special. They were tender, smoked, and had okay flavor (I had the 'hot' flavor). The fries were meh. My wife said the tacos were really good, but one of them didn't get the sauce and was kinda bland (it was the first one, so at first she thought that's how they are). The Good: Great beer selection. Good service (unlike Hertz). They found out we were fist timers, so the manager brought us a chili corn bread, covered in butter and honey -- it was awesome, and that was a nice touch. Wings were excellent and unique. Not Great: The place doesn't have a personality yet. It feels like a chain. It'll get there with time, though, I'm sure. My 10 wings came with 9 drummettes and 1 wing, which was a bummer b/c the wing section is my favorite. Three stars b/c we probably won't go the distance (from Gilbert) to eat here, but we would stop in if we're in the area.
