  • Maybe I come here too much. For instance, I know that it is exactly 367 steps from my door to Federal's. But the pizza is just so good, it's hard to not want to go everyday! My favorite pizzas are the Big Star and Margarita. The brussel sprouts are also amazing. I went with a group one day, including one small child, and even he liked the brussel sprouts! If that's not a testament to how good they are, I don't know what is. They also have the same great happy hour as Windsor/Postino, with the addition of house-made wine coolers and beer growlers to go. $15 to buy the growler, but only $10 to get it filled. If you're in the mood for dessert, definitely get the donut holes with chocolate sauce. I'm not a big chocolate person, but I find myself covering the donuts with it. As much as I like Federal, I have had a couple of disappointments. I tried the ravioli one night and they were very bland. I also got the wedge salad to go, and it seemed like it was mostly "wedge" without many toppings. While there may be some misses at Federal, I will definitely keep coming back for the pizza.
