Stopped in to purchase a birthday gift and after not receiving any service when I found the item to be purchased, I started getting pissed. I grabbed the price tag and moved up to the counter. The youngster at the counter after several attempts told me the time was not in stock but I could purchase at another location. NOT wanting to have to drive to another location, I was told I could it shipped to my house. NOT wanting to deal with a limited time window of delivery and NOT wanting to deal with gate codes, I opted to have it shipped to the store for pick-up. What stressed me out the most was corporate America wanting the location of my house despite me picking it up at the store. My initial rejection was stressing out the youngster as I questioned about needing my residential address even though I was going to pick up my purchased item at the store. "It's for billing purposes" I was told. I questioned further about paying on my own and not requiring Officemax billing. Starting to feel like a D%^&, I caved and gave all the information needed for the youngster to input. I was told one to three days for delivery. The item came in the very next day. Waiting until the official day, I rolled in to pick it up. Everything went smooth and another youngster offered to wheel out my purchase to my vehicle. Sounds dramatic, but it was only because I made it so. I got what I needed and everyone was happy.
