The place was pretty empty, and very run down (don't look at the ceiling while you are eating). My husband and I went there a decade ago and was unimpressed, and with our fave place closed for reno's we decided to give it a second chance. We regretted it.
I had a craving for some Shepherd's Pie and a pint of cider. The cider choices were decent, but the Shepherd's Pie was unsettling. It was dry, and tasted like it was a reheated grocery store frozen not fresh dish, for which I ended up having an allergic reaction. It was WAY overpriced ($13 for Shepherd's Pie?) for the small icky portion.
It was a nice place to watch the Olympics on the big screen and have a pint, but I won't be going back for the food.
Our waitress was really really awesome.
