  • I came here with a friend on a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered a red bean bubble waffle and their special taro milk tea, the order came up to be a little under $13. I guess the price reflects the location of where it's at. Now for my reviews, the red bean bubble waffle ... did not have any red bean, was it just a flavour thing?! I'm not sure if the person got it wrong since it did say on the package that it was red bean. The waffle tasted much like coconut, it is also crunchier than the regular bubble waffles you find at China town. My friend thought it tasted like a red bean flavour, so we didn't bother asking. kinda weird, maybe should've asked! But, the waffles tasted pretty good even without the red bean , much comparable to the ones found in HK! Taro milk tea made with real taro. I really appreciate the real taro, and I love real taro over the powder, and it is very rare to find places that make real taro! However, my opinion is that the taro paste did not really mesh well with the milk tea - I mixed it around with the tea, but all I got was first milk tea, then a slop of taro. Also, the milk tea by itself could have a bit more flavour.. it tasted like milk with a hint, very light hint of tea. I wouldn't say that it's bad, but I also wouldn't say that it's the best!
