My experience at AutoNation was going awesomely in the beginning.....Erik Estrada was my salesperson and was fantastic. AJ was the sales manager who helped get a smoking deal and was no problem to deal with. Then it was time to deal with Dustin, the finance guy. He was very high-pressure and made me feel like a real idiot when I did not want to purchase any additional protection coverage. Despite me telling him numerous times that we weren't interested in any of it, he continued to come back with more offers of varying costs. When we declined again, he again made us feel like we were the stupidest people on earth for not purchasing the additional protection. When I told him our experience was fantastic up until his high-pressure, condescending tactics, he finally walked away and said, "I apologize for offering you protection." Wow. If someone declines purchasing anything additional, the seller should just merely thank them and walk away, instead of taking it personally and launching attacks at the buyer. It was very unfortunate because, as previously noted, we were having a very good experience until this point. He ruined the whole experience. I get it; he is doing his job to sell us more stuff. But people don't have to act like that and be unprofessional. I also overheard him telling a coworker that I was a "dick" when he had no idea I was in earshot. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for. I won't be returning to this dealership and it is solely because of how I was treated by Dustin.
