Where do I even start.... From the staff to the animals, the overall feeling at Sea Quest is very sad. The staff don't really seem to know much about the animals and most of them give off the vibe that they're just collecting a check and don't really care about the customer experience or the animals. Above all, I felt really bad for the poor animals. They really need to get the star fish area under control.... a lot of parents don't give a crap and just let their kids pick up the star fish and poke them. Those fish are going to die if they don't start assigning a staff member for consistent supervision. They use coins as a way for patrons to purchase food to feed to the animals, what a stupid idea. I didn't realize how dangerous that was until I saw a little boy dump an entire handful of coins into the tank with the sting rays.... the mother started telling the little boy to "come on" before "we get in trouble" and we ended up notifying the staff ourselves. The animals don't want to eat anyway because they are so over fed. It's not made clear that people are to sanitize their hands BEFORE touching the animals, so everyone we witnessed was sanitizing their hands after touching the animals instead of before.... how does that provide any protection to the animals? I could go on an on.... this place needs to get it together and put the interest of the animals first and put some effort into the customer experience as well. Save your money.
