  • It's hard for me to even give this location one star. I had possibly the worst service I've ever had at a retail store. I'm a very persistent Steve Madden customer and have never been treated so horribly especially from a "manager". Before I came to the store, I checked out my two pairs of shoes online just to see the price after the "buy one get one 70% off" promo, where my total came out to be $147 in all. Of course I was excited to get my shoes fast so I called the store at Fashion Square to put the same shoes on hold, after being told that the shoes "Emotions" were included in the sale. When I got to the store, the "manager" said that the shoes were not included- I said I talked to another manager on the phone earlier and she said they were. So that is the website and another managers word against hers. She said she would check again, and came back to tell me that they aren't included but would "honor" it. So, after being very rude and wrong, she gave me the shoes, messing up which shoes I actually got, then proceeded to stand at the middle of the store beside her three coworkers, not helping me at all (not giving me a try on sock or helping me get a different size). After I decided I was going to buy the shoes and went to the register, another coworker said the total was $172. I asked why, since the online store said my total was $147, and she was little to no help after showing me the wrong shoes being marked for the 70% off on the screen. I told her what I had seen on the online store, but was still rude and unhelpful. She called over the same manager, who gave a short answer and didn't even care to look at the screen. At this point I was more than ready to bring my prior online total up, but instead left the store, proceeded in buying my shoes on the online store, and payed a nice total of $147:) I'm never going back into that Steve Madden store again and will settle with waiting a week for my shoes instead of petty, unhelpful "mangers".
