  • BEST value for uni sashimi. Always fresh and tasty (no bleeding). The guy went to the back to get fresher batch for me to choose from when I told him I was getting uni, even though there were a couple on display already. One tray of uni for $20, cheaper if you buy two. I became hooked after experiencing Uni in Vancouver and have struggled to find fresh uni sources in Toronto. I even shipped over uni from Vancouver. This place will NOT disappoint if you are shopping for uni :) *EDIT: okay, it's not ALWAYS yummy. Not when it's out of season like now... Yes I still forced it because I am obsessed with uni.. that is my fault and only my fault.. *sigh* I could tell it's not a matter of freshness because there was no bleeding. The taste was also blander.
