| - This review will be for 6/17 and 6/18 when the Angels came to town for two. I attended both games, one with a friend and one on my own. I have to say the Arizona faithful are friendly with the opposing team's fans. As long you don't start belittling or being disrespectful toward them, they're cool with you supporting your team! I also noticed that the Diamondback fans are also more enthusiastic, energetic, and loud than the Angel fans back home. We ended up splitting 2 games in Anaheim, and 2 games in Arizona.
The stadium itself is in Downtown Phoenix, which is not too far from those who live in Phoenix. Like Angel Stadium, they do offer $5-10 parking in the back of Chase Field by the Tee-Hee Mexican Food Restaurant on 7th and Buchanan I think. Before you enter the stadium, they do security checks for those who never visited Chase Field.
As you enter the stadium, you will see it is beautifully built from the inside with a retractable roof. Many food vendors from the lower and high levels of the park. I also noticed the Randy Johnson and Matt Williams Legend figures walking around taking pictures with the fans, as I walked by. From the inside, they have a lineup board of both Diamondbacks and the opposing team near the 1B/3B lines, and a huge scoreboard which is hard to miss! I enjoyed the game from the nosebleeds which weren't that bad, and I was able to enjoy the game standing at the lower levels. The ushers are also friendly, and don't mind you watch the game from where the handicapped are seated like in Anaheim. I will come back to Chase Field again, when the Angels are in town.
