| - I booked a room on Hotels.com and I have a feeling that either this hotel may not be crazy about that or just does not seem to understand convenience. I checked in for a king size bed and I was placed at the very end of the hall, a very long hall, on the second floor, with neon lights flashing through the windows at night and a terrible view. I thought... Usually rooms at the end of hall have nice views yet when I got there... Yeah... Nope... Pretty bad! I ended up just closing the curtains at night.
The hotel has potential as it is very pretty and the grounds around the hotel are beautiful. The rooms are nice... In my opinion a little bit outdated compared to other hotels, especially the newer ones on the strip, yet at least the bed is comfortable. There is a minibar in your hotel room, although quite expensive. There is room service available. The size of the room is good with a very nice bathroom, and the walk to the casino is roughly 3 to 5 minutes.
Getting around this hotel to either the parking lot or another section takes little time to learn and can be confusing, yet there are signs for where to go, only they are plastered onto the wall and not obvious unless you really look for them as they are very high up close to the ceiling.
If you are staying in this hotel, make sure to let check in know if you want to be close to the elevator or have a good view. I think it is important because although the inside of the room was OK for me, it was very far away from where elevator was, for going to the casino and the garage where I parked, and the view was pathetic.
