Great dog park! Love that the weather is cooling down and I can enjoy some nice evening playtime with the pups. Been going between 5-6pm right before the sun goes down and there has been roughly 15 or so pups! Love that there is so many sweet playful pups that my labs can run around with. The park is surrounded by street lights so even if the sun goes down your pups will have plenty of light to run around and for you to see them without worry.
There is 2 large gated in dog parks and both are full around this time. There is the large dog area on the left and small dogs on the right. The set up is awesome because there is a small gated area when you first walk in so you can take your dog leash off and not worry about your dog getting out or another dog already in the park slipping out.
Huge grassy area for dogs to run. Grass is completely dead but what do you expect from a dog park...haha! They also have a working water fountain and usually about 3 dog bowls full of water. I always bring my own bowl but the water fountain makes it easy to fill up.
The hiking trail starts behind the dog park so I have seen a few people let their dogs run around free in dog park for like 10min and then take them up for a hike. Be a great way to get some energy out. I will definitely try this out when it gets a tad more cooler for a hike.
Overall this is a great dog park and I have met some very nice people and so many sweet dogs. The pups always have a great time and I never have a problem.
