Had heard about floating, so thought I'd see if Vegas had any float spas on a recent visit. Found Float Sanctuary, booked an appt and am now completely hooked. Owner Brent answered the phone and described the process to me over the phone AND gave me an intro deal: 2 for $50. I brought my friend's 80 year old mom who ended up staying over the one hour in the float tank bc she nodded off!
While my friend's mom was snoozing, I waited at the side table and rehydrated from their bottled spring water dispenser. There are also a few books about floating available to read.
I highly encourage anyone to do it...It is a completely relaxing experience! Although I am giving 4 stars due to the location and sparse decor, the place is kept extremely clean and sanitized. The staff is also friendly.
TIP: my nose became itchy a few times, so I recommend lifting your head out of the water before scratching and/or wiping your nose with the dry cloth provided. Otherwise salt water may drip back into your nose...it really stings, believe me.
TIP: I removed all my necklaces as I wasn't sure if the metal would react with the salt water.
TIP: they moved a year ago, so current location is the corner of So. Main and W. Imperial Ave. NOT So. Main and W. Charleston as indicated on Apple Maps.
