Three little words: Lawson's Chip Dip. I'll say it again: Lawson's. Chip. Dip! An excellent local treat that many years ago used to be sold at a chain of stores called Lawsons. Lawsons went out of business and was reinvented as a Japanese chain selling wasabi and sushi snacks to people in Japan and Hawaii (I am not making this up) but the chip dip changed hands a few times and now lives on at the Circle K. They have the dip on sale a lot too!
With respect to getting gasoline or anything else, this place is not only quite a ways from my Lakewood house but is a traffic hazard because everybody coming off I-90 seems to be stopping here. It sits on a triangular corner in such a way that makes it hard to get in and out of the lot, sometimes impossible to even find parking, and a general headache. But I will put up with it to get the Lawsons Chip Dip.
The staff are nicer than you expect people working in a convenience store full of all kinds of riff raff to be.
