  • I had a lot of problems with my McDouble meal today. Read on. This McDonald's recently remodeled. It was a huge play area, now smaller but updated. All the tables, chairs, and decor are new, down to the paint/wallpaper and outside of building decor. They also have those machines you can punch in your order on, but you can't add big Mac sauce to anything, so you have to order at the counter if you want that. I will post pix. They also updated their computer system. They no longer have a value meal for the McDouble, except on the kids menu, which is an overpriced happy meal with toy. Their toys are getting better, though. Small Hasbro games currently. The kid taking our order didn't have paper in his printer, so no receipt. He also gave us no cups and ignored me when I went back for cups. We had to wait for someone with better customer service to notice us, who then asked us how many. Having no idea who ordered what since I had no receipt, I said, I don't know, I have no receipt since he has no paper. Our order is brought out to us. My McDouble meal? Invisible. Since I have no receipt, I have no way to prove I bought it. The kid had to go back and check to see what we got, because THEY have receipts for their side. Just not for customers. Food still tastes same as before, so that is a positive.
