| - I really wish it weren't the case, but I was met with rude, unwelcoming and cold staff from the moment I finally walked in, after being hassled with their extremely limited parking. No one really wants to park on the street of such an area because your parking lot is too full.
When something feels off, trust your vibe. Take note Kandy: customer interaction training needs an overhaul.
I'm so thankful I left without them touching my hair, because Lizzie was adamant in not listening to my vision and I was not hopeful that she could fulfill it despite several visuals being shown. And it was not even a matter of not being able to achieve it that day, either. I have noticed in other testimonies here that I am not the first case of her failing to listen to what the client wanted, but thankfully I did not leave crying like another girl in the Yelp reviews had. Maybe Kandy would have been a better fit, but one should not need a senior stylist to perform a very typical service.
I am perplexed that in spite of so many positive reviews for this modernly renovated shanty in downtown Phoenix, I still left with an awful taste in my mouth. I also think potential customers should take note that a different Yelper stated that they were incentivized with a discount in exchange for a positive review. That seems borderline shady: if you have to bribe anyone to show the world you do good work, there's something wrong beneath the surface; your photos should speak for themselves, which I do not believe they do.
Save your money (Snapdragon seems way too overpriced for the quality of service they give) and find somewhere nicer. I'm SO happy I did.
