I love eating in and around Lake Las Vegas (Hendo)! Some of my more memorable times was eating here at Bernards Bistro during a wine walk that I didn't know what was going to happen. But during my last visit I went during the day time. The inside looked too fancy so we sat in the patio. It's not exactly Lake side like Marche Baccus but it's pretty damn good.
We ordered two items, the Filet Mignon and Rack of Lamb. I asked which was the most popular item and the server told me Rack of Lamb, and while it was good the Filet Mignon was outstanding. Coupled that with our bottle of Riesling, it was good times.
Service was slow for a Saturday lunch/dinner, I gave us a lot of time before the Wine Walk at Town Square and there was significant delay between all parts of our meal. I'd give it 3 stars but Bernards is my favorite place to eat out of all dining establishments here so I'll give them another just to outshine the others. Even though, free wine tasting at the other spot wins on Tuesdays. So, do sit outside if the weather is nice and get you some expensive wine and fabulous food!
