| - ***Review Update***
So after my review of this business, I received a humble reminder that negative reviews should only be given if no attempt to rectify the problem is made. After reading my review, Mr. Mike Gordon contacted me. He stated that he wished I had contacted him before leaving my two star review. He was right... I honestly didn't think to contact management. Typically when I have a bad experience, I don't make a big fuss, I just choose not to give my business to the company anymore. In this case, I'm glad my review of Appliance Repair Experts made way for an opportunity to remind me that a company is only as poor as its owners/management. Employees mess up all the time, but a successful business thrives on good management. This business has great management. Thank you, Mr. Gordon, for this humbling experience. I appreciate your time and effort to address my experience and make it right. I absolutely will recommend your company, to others, as well as seek your services if needed.
Decided to use this company because of their reviews. Although the repairman that came to my home was extremely courteous, I'm disappointed in myself for even trying them out. I paid $60 for him to come and look at my washer for less than 60 seconds, only to misdiagnose the problem. I was quoted $244 for parts and labor, to replace the washers rod suspensions. Mind you, he never removed the top of the washer to thoroughly view the machine. Just eyeballed and diagnosed. I ended up waiting for, Paul, of Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair, to return from vacation. Paul thoroughly inspected the washer. He said that the support rod had come off. He fixed it, ran a load to ensure the washer was fixed, and charged $95 for labor, which was fine with me. Won't be trying this company in the future, I would suggest shopping around before going with this company. Side note, I have yet to receive my receipt via email.
