  • First off, it takes ALOT for me to take the time to come write a 1 star review as I'm a very patient and overall happy person. Picture this: mom walks in with a stroller/baby, 4 year old by her side, 2 4 month old puppies, and a 6 year old large dog. She's has this giant crew with her because her husband is at work and she doesn't have a sitter. It's a lot for one person to handle. Dr Scott comes into the room, doesn't introduce himself or barely even greets any of us, INCLUDING THE PUPPIES. (Which I think it's common sense to greet an animal with a smell of the hand and get in their level to establish trust/relationship. Maybe even a treat) He grabs the 2 puppies leashes and says he's taking them to the other room. They aren't used to walking on leashes as they aren't aloud to go on walks yet due to vaccines. One of the puppies is frantic and won't walk on the leash and ends up pooping out of fear. When he finally gets them to the other room I realize he wants us all to come. We all get on there and he proceeds with the exam of the calmer of the 2 puppies. He already seems irritable. He then tries to grab the leash of the other who fought him and she ends up nipping his finger, draws blood. I feel awful at this point and ask if I can hold her to help. He tells me no and to stay where I am. He leaves with a SLAM OF THE DOOR and returns with a muzzle and an assistant. At this point our puppy can sense Scotts anger/temper and fights him once more, pulling back and not letting him near her. During this whole struggle he proceeds to tell me in front of my children how these dogs need training, which we're working on(they're 4 months) that they're gonna bite our kids( never happened, they love our kids), she needs to be socialized( have done so with plenty of people/kids/do gas/cats in our home but can't go out in public because they're not done with vaccines),how they should be brought to vet more often so they're not scared, maybe she's scared because there's too many people in the room and ON AND ON. He showed no empathy and told me I'm a irresponsible dog sitter owner. If he only knew how much WE LOVE/LIVE for our pets, especially all the time, money and energy we put into fighting our beloved dog Zoe's with liver cancer. Are you kidding me now? Scott you didn't build any trust with a new animal and expected them to be perfect! Basically shaming, humiliating me, making me feel like a complete piece of dirt and like I'm an idiot who doesn't know how to control my dog. Tells me he's done and to leave. I am beside myself shocked and embarrassed and my daughter keeps asking me what we did and why he was so mad/mean to us. As I got to the lobby and tried to round up a stroller, 4 year old and 3 dogs to get out the door, we were clearly struggling and in tears embarrassed and upset by our treatment. My daughter is trying to push the door open with tears in her eyes and she can't get it open. The front desk woman just sat and ignored us and DIDNT EVEN OFFER TO HOLD THE DOOR OPEN so we could escape. We finally got out and into the car and couldn't hold back. Scott was incredibly rude, heartless and demeaning. I can't believe he works with people or pets. We never felt welcome from the time we set foot in the door. And just an FYI, you only have 1 chance to make a first impression, and guess what you certainly did. Maybe you were having a bad day or tired at the end of the day, but that never gives u the right to treat a mother with 5 kids/pets to care for alone EVER! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. And for the record, my puppy has never bit anyone, including our amazing holistic vet! Clearly it was you and your energy! Prayers for you Scott. My heart forgives, but I will never forget. Take your money/pets elsewhere.
