We are driving from Texas to California, and this hotel is our over night stop on the way. The positives are: a nice atrium - my kids are ecstatic about the fish ponds and cliff murals, the rooms are big suites with a sitting room and bedroom, the pool is beautiful and warm (at least in July!), and the complimentary breakfast is quite good - a cook makes omelettes and pancakes to order, plus they have all the usual muffins, pastries, and fruit. The negatives are: the level of cleanliness leaves something to be desired - the shower had some green body wash goo on the soap holder and the towels and linens have some stains, and there was trash from a previous guest in the drawer between the beds. Also, we could hear voices from other rooms at bedtime, and the pool area smells like cigarette smoke.
