Went to The lanes this evening. Looked great, cool specials and solid atmosphere. Front desk was friendly. All of the lanes were full so we decided to head to the bar for a drink/cocktail.
That is where things toon a turn for the worst. We had to have a "wrist band" to drink. Which was perfectly fine. We went to the front desk to grab a wrist band. We were told that bowling was the only way to get a wrist band. Which causes us an issue, no lanes, no wrist band, no wrist band no drinks.. What is a gentleman to do?
I politely ask if we could sit, play pool and have drinks. They decide that we cannot. Our money is no good. In a rude fashion we are sent away. I decide that maybe calling would do the trick. I call and ask if lanes are Available and they state firmly "no" I then ask if any will
Be available "no." Lastly I ask if we can have food or a drink at the bar. "No"
Apparently they do not like cash? Sad to say that they had an opportunity to impress a first time visitor. We were met with a stoic rudeness that was uncanny. Please do yourself a favor- Go somewhere else. A place that likes money, prides themselves in service, and could possibly enjoy life. The staff at Arsenal are zombies, lifeless and clearly can't wait to disappoint.
