| - The most difficult part of my flooring project was picking out which product to use. The sales staff at Arizona Flooring Direct was very helpful in this regard, and were quite accommodating when I wanted to amend my order to add another room and upgrade to larger baseboards. I was disappointed that the bid wasn't more detailed, because when all is said and done, I can't say that I was given the extra 5% Angie's discount (I don't see it offered now, so I may be mistaken), or that I was given any credit for taking out the carpet and baseboards from the additional room myself. I suspect not on both counts, but have chosen not to hassle over any possible credits, as I am very pleased with the final result.
There was one issue that could have caused a big problem. My HOA has strick guidelines concerning underlayment sound transmission specifications. The minimum allowed is IIC 71 and STC 73. The specifications I got from Arizona Flooring Direct were IIC 89 and STC 87, which was incorrect information from the supplier. The actual specifications we're lower, which I discovered only after the materials had been delivered to the condo, but fortunately the underlayment still met the HOA requirements. Had that not been the case, the HOA wouldn't have allowed the project to continue.
