| - Stayed here for 3 nights last month. I would definitely stay here again. Love that there is a fridge and microwave. Instead of eating out all the time, there is a Fry's right down the street where you can get fresh fruit and veggies. Eh, and microwaveables if you're into that. Was able to stock juice, watermelon, milk and water for my stay here. I even grabbed a few lunchables when I was at the market, too.
Another great thing about the location is the proximity to Bosa Donuts! Yum. The fountain up front is also a Pokestop. Yay! (*insert Team Mystic chant here*) Just across the street is El Dorado Park--another bonus at this location. For me during my stay, the post office a couple blocks away was also useful.
I'm not going to get hung up on what these people classify themselves as. Call it a hotel or a motel or even a diamond resort...for me its all about getting what you pay for. This place definitely delivers a good amenities-to-price ratio. The beds were comfy. The room was clean. Wifi went down during the wee morning hours, but when it worked it was fast enough. I'm blind as a bat so I always worry about having enough lighting in the room, which they did. Water pressure & temperature was great.
Only a couple complaints. AC blew cold, which is great, but I could never figure out how to raise the thermostat. Had to completely turn AC off at certain times because it was freezing in the room. The free in-room coffee would have been a plus, but the coffeemaker pot was dirty and rusty inside, so I just went out for some.
