My wife in particular does not have an account here but I do. Our company and employees have been cashing our checks here and other bofa locations with no problem.Wife walks in tried to cash her check like usual and for whatever reason management says they cannot verify it because the owner of the company was not available at the office. The "manager" in a very condacending way said it was their policy and maybe she should open an account instead. I UNDERSTAND policies but if this was a policy, it should have been done every single time she has successfully cashed her check without phone verification. Now I am more inclined to believe this was a discriminatory judgement on management. I don't know if it is our race, income, or maybe he is just having a bad day but bank of america needs to teach this manager to sympathize with customers and non customers situations. This could have been easily solved if he would have just kindly explained why out of the 8yrs she has been cashing her checks, this is the only time she's had an issue. But instead he kept acting like everything is top secret, not a single explanation which basically sounds like he is saying tough luck, screw off! IRONICALLY, we went to another b of a and successfully cashed the check. HOPEFULLY, bank of america does something about this as I am closing my account and our Business account solely because of this manager working on November 2nd at 1:30p.m. he is giving BOFA A new meaning... Bunch of A$$holes.
