In all my years of buying new cars, I have dealt with many types of car sale people, most of whom were decent people that just tried to make a living. However, there were some that just disgusted you so much that you wanted to leave the dealership and never wanting to come back. You might even go out of the way to persuade your friends and relatives to not ever do business with them. The internet sale people I dealt with at Centennial Toyota fits the latter category. These sale people will offer you deals or said that they will offer you hundreds below the lowest offer you have received. Once you showed up at the dealership, they and their sale manager will renege (back out) of their promise and tried to negotiate thousands dollars more than what was agreed on. Not only it wasted my time, their sleazy tactic just pissed me off. Want to hear something funny? This is what their so called "sale manager" told me after backing out of the agreed price: "Normally we would sell this car a couple thousands over MSRP price, but today you can just pay me the MSRP price plus tax." Wow, I guess I should be grateful for his generosity (sarcasm!!!!). I guess he thinks Toyota falls into the same category as Tesla or Ferrari or those rare exotic cars. SMH.
