Cute and cozy neighborhood restaurant in downtown Charlotte. I loved the atmosphere, and the fried pickles were great. I had high expectations for the fried haddock based on previous reviews and marked as a house favorite-it was good, not amazing. Maybe the breading wasn't my favorite? I couldn't really put my finger on it. The garlic fries were also pretty good, and the boneless medium wings were spicier than expected (but still tasty). The coleslaw however, I hated. The vinegar was really strong in it, and to be fair, I'm hard to please with coleslaw to begin with. Overall I would still come back to try other foods. The staff was friendly and attentive. Wish there were half stars to bump up this rating a little more.
