  • This resort has gone down hill fast. We just came back from a 2-night stay and had a horrible experience. The only reason I give it even 1 star is bc our kids had fun in the water park. And the workers in the restaurant for bkfst were super sweet. Sadly, we had issues from the start. Our room was very dirty. Food on the ground from previous guests. Beds weren't even completely made. Cobwebs along the walls. Broken remote control sitting on table. We had no hand soap or any toiletries items in our room. Over a 6 hr period we called the front desk 3 times asking for at the very least some hand soap. We finally went down to get some. Each time a rude front desk worker said they would have some sent up. They never did! Then about 10pm (with kids sleeping) our A/C starts making a sound similar to a jackhammer. After 20 mins maintenance arrived and replaced the whole A/C unit. About 4am we're woken by a very loud noise... like an alarm going off...coming from that "new" A/C unit and when we call the front desk they tell us there is nothing they can do bc maintenance is offsite until 630am. Maintenance finally showed up at 1030am to our room (the alarm sounds going on for 6+ hrs). That's after stopping by the front desk two more times to remind them. We're told they will move us to a new room and comp us for the charge for that first night. If we didn't live so far away we would have left after that first night. So for our second night, we're told our new room wouldn't be ready until 4pm? But then at 2pm we're asked to stay close to our old room bc as soon as our new one is cleaned, we would need to move immediately, so they could clean our old room for a new guest?? So instead of having fun in the water park we're left sitting there waiting until 3:40pm to move to the new room. Oh and while we're waiting 5 different house keeping workers come in and ask us why we're still in there??? Overall most of the staff seem miserable at their jobs. We get home to find out .... they didn't even credit us back the full amount for the first night. Obviously we'll never be back!
