| - In August 2012, purchased a vehicle from Peoria Ford. The issue I have with them is what I was advised during the signing of paperwork. I purchased, what I thought was complete coverage for my tires and wheels, as I was told by the finance guy. Supposedly the tire/wheel coverage was to cover scratches, curbing etc on the wheels. Currently, I have a missing cap from my rims and thought to call on my warranty and have the cap replaced. Come to find out wheels are only covered if I hit a pothole or dramatic damage created somehow.
First they promised a referral of $200, for sending someone over there to buy a car. Sent my son over there, he bought a car, and they CREDITED the monies instead of giving it to me.
Just a warning, DO NOT take for granted they are being HONEST! Read through ALL of the paperwork before buying additional coverages. After spending almost an entire day negotiating and being promised warranty coverages, I skimmed over the small print in the contract. My bad, but now I'm paying the price (twice).
I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS DEALER AGAIN!!!
