  • I want to start off by saying my boyfriend and I used to come to this place literally every weekend until our visit today.. I'm not too sure about sushi kaya anymore. I understand that it gets extremely busy during the weekends and usually we have to wait over an hour for a table which used to be worth it but this visit ruined everything. First off, we waited over 2 hours but this time I got very frustrated bc they kept passing people that arrived way after us so I went up to speak to the hostess only to find out that she claimed to have called my name a long time ago when clearly my bf and I were standing right next to the hostess podium the entire time and then told us that shed give us the next available table so we waited for about another 20 mins as she kept sitting other people so my boyfriend went up to ask again and they finally sat us, we looked at the menu and a lady came to ask us for our drinks (which she later forgot about them so we had to ask another server again) first round was good, here came second round.. We waited for about 10 mins until someone approached us, same thing happened with 3rd round, even when it's busy they usually attend us quickly but not this time. unfortunately, we will have to search for another sushi bar.
