  • Desoto Central Market is one of my favorite places in Phoenix. I come here multiples times a week, but this is the first time I've thought about reviewing it. Downstairs there are multiple mini-restaurants and a coffee bar. There is plenty of seating and an outdoor patio that has misters to keep cool. There is also an upstairs area with additional seating. Their happy hour special of a burger, fries, and mystery beer for $10 is always great during lunch, but there are plenty of other options available from multiple restaurants. On weekdays, this is the perfect place to grab a coffee and get to work. It's usually pretty easy to find an outlet upstairs and they have wi-fi! On weekends, it might get a little busy, so you might want to leave your work at home, get one of their $5 pitchers, grab one of the board games they keep available at the bar, and just hang out. With that said, it's just about 5 o'clock on a Friday right now and it's just barely louder than it usually is so I'm just avoiding doing some work by writing this review! Overall, this place is excellent. Definitely will continue to come back!
