My husband and I wandered into the Charlotte Cafe after doing some shopping at Park Road and wanted some late breakfast. Upon entering, I was surprised at how large this seemingly small spot actually was. It definitely has a true diner feel to it, and the menu is reflective, with a little bit of everything you could think of to eat. We both decided to have breakfast, and went for the combination platter. It included eggs, pancakes, choice of meat and potato. The food was served very quickly, and our waitress was that perfect mix of friendly and sassy. It was just what you'd expect from a diner experience. My only caveat was that the combination platter was $12, which is a little pricey in comparison to many other breakfast joints in the area. They do have weekday breakfast specials, but no such luck for the weekends.
