  • It took us a while to find Shenker, it was not the first preschool our kids had been to although it will definitely be the last. If you are looking for a big box chain preschool, this is not the place. If you are looking for a genuinely caring staff from custodian to director, look no further. Our older son has advanced rapidly with the hands on curriculum paired with lower than state required ratios of teachers to students. Our younger son (infant) gets the utmost care that a set of parents could ever ask for when caring for their infant. A concern of ours initially was the fact that this is a Jewish denomination school and we are not of the faith. The preschool has put a system in place so that children of the Jewish faith will have the opportunity to practice and children who are not may opt out or choose their involvement. As you can see from my history on yelp, I don't give out many reviews as most businesses do not wow me anymore. On the other hand, Shenker Academy and their staff deserve the utmost kudos from our family and many others. Thank you so much for the stability and direction you have given our family!
