I am a fan of Starbucks. What I dig about the Golden Nugget is they have two (2) Starbucks in the Hotel.
One is located just adjacent to the Casino as you are about to exit out onto Freemont Street. The other is located by the elevators just adjacent to the Pool.
Both of the Starbucks have a limited menu. They do not offer the same items a regular Starbucks would offer. The prices are about $1.00 - $1.50 more per item than you would pay at a regular Starbucks. I have read some of the reviews before me about these Starbucks not accepting Gift Cards. I am not sure why that is but I am sure it has a lot to do with gaming rules for any type of business located within a Casino.
I hit this Starbucks up several times during my last trip. I had everything my coffee to Green Tea. I had a Blueberry nut muffin and I was never disappointed with the freshness of their product or taste.
I dig that for fans of Starbucks you can walk to one without leaving the Casino or pickup Hot Chocolate to go out onto the Street and watch the laser light show, especially on those cold Las Vegas evenings, because it does get quite chilly on occasion in Vegas. I mean they did have a foot of snow fall in one day which basically shut down the entire City. Lucky for Vegas the weather was almost 75 the next day and melted everything away.
When I am in Vegas I will stay at the GN and I will be coming here for coffee. I did see when checking in to Starbucks that a Dunkin Donuts which also has great coffee is around the area. I will check that out as well next time around.
This Starbucks does not offer WiFI which makes sense because the Casino charges you $12.00 a day for WiFi access. This Starbucks on this side of the Casino does have outdoor seating which is a fenced in patio area on Freemont.
