  • I visited the Salon on May 26th to take my mother there for a late Mother's day gift. We were there to get spa manicures and pedicures. We started off with the pedicure... it was terrible. There was little to NO massage and considering I chose the spa pedicure, I assumed that I would receive one. When I was asked what I wanted on my nails, I said a french manicure. The nail tech said she didn't know how to do a french manicure, but she could practice on me if I wanted. No thank you. So the nail tech that did my mom's, also did mine. It was the WORST Shellac French manicure I have ever received. There were bumps and ridges in the polish, but I was told that happens with the Shellac. I have had MANY Shellac manicures and that has NEVER happened. EVER. Within a week, the manicure is chipping and peeling, the pedicure the same. I also was not told up front that a french manicure would be $10 more. I know it's typically more, but not $10 and I wasn't about to pay that much for the terrible job I received. I wasn't forced to pay for the french, but ended up paying for everything else. I had 3 different people working on my nails due to different clients and untimely scheduling. All 3 did a terrible job. I had read the reviews and the reviews only touched on hair, but were mostly positive, so I was hoping for the same for Nails. I was wrong and EXTREMELY disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this salon for nails if it was the last place in Gilbert. I spoke with the Owner and she was very nice and disappointed that I had had the experience that I did at the salon. She did inform me that the spa pedicure did include a longer massage, but that didn't happen. She did offer a free service to make up for our nails, but honestly, I just wanted a refund. The time and money I spent on my nails, not to mention the fact that it was a gift for my mom, was a major disappointment. They are not able to process refunds.
