I'm giving this place 4 stars and will give it 5 if they update the place. The people are very friendly and helpful although the pool service is a bit on the slow side. The staff definitely follows through on the details. The location, views, and grounds are all unbeatable. Although the Phoenician represents itself and does feel like luxury resort, the place is definitely dated. It's very tasteful, elegant, and subdued decor from what I would guess is the 80's or maybe early 90's. Hope they update and hope the service stays as excellent. It would then be a no brainier for us to stay here again.
