  • A warm and inviting brewery that makes you feel at home. They couldn't have assembled this place any better. As if a French farmhouse had a love child with a Belgian neighborhood. The layout is spot on...and cozy. Their beer and branding are both whimsical without triggering eye rolls. Very well done. The beers are all sturdy and well built. They just released a sour made from cherries. I couldn't have been more impressed by their restraint. It was perfect! I was pre-gaming a concert at the Fillmore, so I didn't have a ton of time to sample the food menu. If their food is half as good as their beer, I'm sure it's a homerun. This is easily one of my favorite breweries in the Charlotte area! I'd like to point out that I wasn't completely stoked to visit Sugar Creek on our rounds to begin with. I usually trend towards small DIY type things. That being said...I couldn't be happier that we visited. Top of my list Sugar Creek! Try: The cherry gos style concoction...fan...freakintastic! That brownish IPA was strange but great too!
