| - An awful place. I agree with the other reviews. They constantly try to find ways to upcharge and the office staff is generally rude. We only went there because they are close to our home.
In our last interaction, my wife called to have a prescription for our dog's thyroid medication refilled. We, admittedly, missed that she would be out within the day, so we needed it within 24 hours. My wife explained but the response from them was that they require a 24-hour window.
I called back and explained the situation again and that our dog needed the medication. The response was that "just as in a regular pharmacy, nobody fills prescriptions immediately". Basically, it wasn't that they couldn't fill it, only that, as a general rule, they won't.
I told her that last time we called a few days in advance, I had to wait for 20 minutes in the waiting room b/c the script was not filled. I don't expect everything to run perfectly. Only that I was patient when they didn't get it right, I would hope for some assistance when the roles were reversed. She put me on hold, came back on the phone and told me that it would be ready in 30 minutes to an hour. I said, "great, thank you very much". She said, "yeah" and hung up on me.
Every appointment seems to be a balancing act trying to figure out what services are actually needed and those that are offered to inflate the bill. I put up with it out of convenience. If you want to deal with that along with a miserable staff, go for it. Greedy, rude, and unhelpful. We won't be going back.
